Hi! I’m Ms. McKenna. I am so excited to teach you and begin this year together. I am thrilled that you are in my class and am looking forward to getting to know you. This is my third year teaching and I am so thankful to be at St. Christopher!
A little about me! I grew up in Centerville, Ohio and went to school at the University of Dayton. I have five siblings, two hardworking parents, and I will be an aunt by the end of August! Some of my favorite things are: books, the ocean, photography, Marvel superheroes and Disney princesses, music and dancing, cooking, arts and crafts, bike riding, soccer and baseball, but most of all teaching you! And guess what? I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in second grade!
We have a VERY special year ahead of us. Some of the things we will learn about are: First Holy Communion and Reconciliation, different communities and environments, writing stories and letters, money and telling time, animals and weather, and of course, we will read, read, read!
I hope you are as excited as I am! I cannot wait for all of the fun we are going to have this year. Faith is extremely important to me – especially in my relationship with you – and I know God has put us together for a reason! I am looking forward to seeing your smile every day, hearing your super-smart ideas, and watching our school family grow in faith and friendship!
Always remember that you are loved!
