Icky Sicky Germs can't stop us from having a great week!
February 11-14
Religion: We studied God's favorite day, the story of creation and individual favorite saints! I loved hearing about their saint choices as they read their mini-project aloud to the class.
Reading: We tested on Mr. Tanen's Tie Trouble - absent students will make this up on Tuesday, Feb. 19. They have read the story enough to do very well.
Math: We tested on Chapter 7 and did a great job! We'll be starting measurement next!
Science: We talked about the different phases water can go through: condensation, evaporation, freezing and melting. This kicked off our study of weather in a little over a month.
February 19-22
Religion: We will be looking at how and where we can talk with and listen to God. This is the next step in First Communion preparation - recognizing how we relate with God in prayer - especially at Mass.
Reading: We will re-read the story of Helen Keller which we started last week. We will also be watching The Miracle Worker as we read and study biographies.
Math: Measurement with inches and feet will keep us going! We'll also be adding in a little bit of graphing to prepare for IOWAs.
Science: We'll take a look at our chapter on energy and magnets.
