Religion: Woohoo! We're less than a month away from First Reconciliation! We are deepening our understanding of forgiveness, God's mercy and healing, what it means to be truly sorry and practicing our Act of Contrition.
Reading/Writing: We are writing our 5 paragraph essays for our Animal Reports. We will wrap up Diary of a Spider with our test on Tuesday.
Math: Chapter 3 is off to a good start. We are working with basic addition and subtraction. PLEASE practice and memorize the basic math facts.
Science: Animal Reports! We have gathered our research and are ready to assemble our presentations.
Social Studies: We are learning about the 3 Main Areas: Urban, Suburban and Rural. We will be creating a flip-flap foldable to display our learning.

*Spelling Test over Halloween Words on October 29
*All Saints Day Mass and dress-up: November 1st
*Animal Reports on November 2
Religion: We will wrap up Unit 4 on Monday and begin Unit 5 - a continued deep, discussion-leading, step-by-step instruction and explanation of Reconciliation. We will also celebrate Halloween (All Hallows' Eve) on Wednesday with Mass and All Saints Day with Mass on Thursday by dressing up as saints! Remember to turn in your purple paper so Mrs. Bade knows who you are for the Litany of Saints!
Math: We will finish up chapter 3 and test on Thursday.
Reading/ELA/Science: We will take a break from our textbook and spend our week perfecting our 5-paragraph essays with editing, revisions and final drafts on our "fancy paper" and create our foldable.
Social Studies: We will finish our Community Flip-Flap (urban, suburban, rural) and create a grid map of our "dream bedroom/classroom" for morning work. We will also be celebrating Dia de Los Muertos on Friday.
